Volunteering at the WRC

Volunteers are essential to the work we do to protect, shelter, and empower people impacted by domestic and sexual violence.

Volunteers do a variety of tasks, including preparing meals for shelter guests, answering phones, helping with special events and projects, and providing childcare. To learn more about current and upcoming opportunities please fill out the form at the bottom of the page.

WRC Volunteer Training

Because of the sensitive nature of our programs, our volunteers are asked to complete a certification training program that will provide crucial information and important perspectives on domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as teach you how to assist our advocates with crisis management, survivor support, and social awareness and education.

WRC Volunteer Training Sessions:

  • Spring 2024: April 29-May 2 from 5:15pm until 8:30pm

If you are interested in signing up for the training or being notified of upcoming trainings, please register using the link below.
