A community discussion with the Honorable Judge Rosemarie Aquilina

May 23rd, 2024 from 5:30-6:30pm at Kirkbride Hall in the Village of Grand Traverse Commons

Rosemarie Aquilina is a Judge of the 30th Circuit Court in Ingham County. She is best known as the Judge who sentenced Larry Nassar in the USA Gymnastics sex scandal. In the landmark trial Aquilina allowed over 150 victims to present personal testimony.

On Thursday, May 26th Attorney General Dana Nessel joined us to discuss the connection between gun violence and domestic violence and what we need to know about both.

On Wednesday, April 27th we discussed gender-based violence prevention through the work of Brenda Tracy’s nonprofit organization, Set The Expectation.

Set The Expectation is dedicated to ending sexual and interpersonal violence through prevention work with men, advocacy, and engagement with agencies serving survivors and their families.
