I know firsthand that the WRC is a safe place for those who have been victimized by domestic and sexual violence to find safety, hope, and restoration. The WRC gave me shelter and a place where I could heal. They helped me find my voice and reminded me that I matter. I had never heard that before. It took a long time, but I am now in control of my life, and for the first time, I am empowered. I am no longer walking around every day in fear.
